Manages the details of overall global project schedules and deliverables. Involves extensive interaction with sales, engineering, product development, marketing, marketing research, and other members of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new products and promotional or gifting projects. Leads the project from initiation (charter) through final production and post launch analysis. Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within constraints. Aggressively works with both project teams and leadership teams (BOLT, PMT) to deliver projects on schedule and on budget and within resource capacity; identifies and updates risk profile and contingencies as well as developing options during the course of the project to ensure the best business decisions are made.
The Project Manager will primarily:
- Lead range of small to large relatively complex global projects. May be responsible for all projects in multiple categories or integrated launch plans.
- Assist and oversee high level timing and key milestones for all projects taking into account requirements and prioritizations as provided by key customer groups (Marketing, Sales Operations, International, PSO).
- Manage multiple projects and develop the plan on how and when to effectively communicate out project status and key issues/next steps to stakeholders. Create a plan for appropriate leadership engagement.
- Identifies, communicates and manages risk; recognizes bottlenecks, constraints and issues and works with team to secure solutions and communicate appropriately.
- Manages timeline and risks to provide options to team and leadership; drives team to recommend the best overall option.
- Drives Project Management/Gate process adherence within assigned categories/projects; provides ideas, plans for continual process improvement.
- Co-leads biweekly meetings with cross functional teams along with ad hoc project team meetings as necessary.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree, in Business, Project Management, or Supply Chain with minimum 5 years experience.
- Well organized: able to juggle multiple teams and issues effectively in a fast paced and demanding work environment
- Excellent skills in MS Office products specifically, MS Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Access.
- Strong voice; ability to communicate effectively with both project teams and leadership teams.
- Problem solver with strong analytical skills and presentation of data.
