Provides support to the user base on the supply chain suite of business applications, troubleshoots issues as they arise, helps to educate users on correct use of applications, and keeps maintenance over the general reliability of the day-to-day operations of our supply chain applications. This person’s primary focus will be on supply chain systems though secondary focus will be on general help desk functions covering any and all end user support and application support as necessary.
- Provide first level support on trouble tickets submitted by users and promotes tickets as necessary.
- Understand the functionality and the supporting data flow of our supply chain systems. Provide user support and education across our suite of business applications through hands-on interpersonal communication.
- Monitor and address any integration issues between our supply chain systems
- Manage user accounts for our supply chain applications.
- Manage and contribute to our business applications documentation repository.
- Become knowledgeable of the business processes and needs of our users.
- Enter, track, and manage trouble tickets opened with software vendors to follow-up with issues experienced from 3rd party software.
- BS degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business preferred.
- Familiarity with database structure and basic SQL queries
- 1-4 years of experience to include 1 of the following areas:
- Technical Support
- SQL Scripting
- .NET development
- Experience with particular ERP functional areas e.g. Material Replenishment Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Manufacturing, and Distribution applications is a plus. Prior experience support Red Prairie systems a strong plus.
- Primary soft skill qualifications include the ability to clearly communicate with our user base, quickly learn our suite of business applications, and accept ownership of trouble tickets and tasks.
- Ability to perform analysis, diagnose issues, and solve through combined technical and business process adaptations.
